Fundraising events
As part of our fundraising efforts to support projects in India, AID-Portland organizes events and drives every year. These programs also serve to increase awareness about AID and its activities among the local community. Volunteers spend many hours outside their work and regular life to plan and organize these programs. The journey from the planning to the implementation stage is grueling, and yet, exhilarating and invigorating at the same time! There is no doubt that raising funds and educating people about the problems facing the rural and underprivileged sections of India is both humbling and enlivening.
